The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against unnecessary travel to all countries outside the EU, the EEA and the Schengen area until 31 January 2021. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised against unnecessary travel to: Andorra, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, the Vatican City and Austria.
Swedish travelers abroad are encouraged to sign up for the Swedish list , read the embassy's travel information on Sweden Abroad and download the app UD Resklar and in the application turn on push notifications for the country you are in.
Swedish citizens residing abroad are recommended to follow the advice and instructions of local authorities.
A number of countries have introduced various measures to limit the spread of infection in the country, which has consequences for travelers, such as curfews, emergency permits, entry and exit bans and quarantine regulations. Some countries also impose restrictions on the possibility of transit through their territories. These decisions may continue to come at short notice.
