POLYFLY's objective is to bring biodiversity where it is most needed, and it does so by proposing alternative natural pollination solutions for greenhouse seed and crop production. POLYFLY was created in 2017 in Almería (Spain), in the heart of the European fruit and vegetable industry. Unique in the world, POLYFLY researches, produces and markets hoverflies as natural pollinators for protected crops. POLYFLY offers an innovative and nature-inspired, economically viable and environmentally sustainable pollination solution. Myophilia, or dipteran pollination, is the second most common pollination syndrome. Diptera are the most important pollinating insects after Hymenopterans (such as bees and bumblebees).
